The Last Day of Double Track on Ely West Curve
21st October 2006

10th April 1992, was the last day of double track on the Ely West Curve. The signalboxes closed later that night with control put on Cambridge PSB. I thought this collection was worthy of inclusion for this reason. It was taken from the back cab of the last daylight passenger train to use the West Curve from the March direction and that track was lifted soon after.
